Irene,
Where are you going, with your fierce winds bearing down
Please hide away, stay far away out in the ocean
But you can’t see, but you can… smell
And the sound of waves crashing down on Governors Island
I am no weatherman, not at all
I have no reasons for you
I am no hero; oh that’s for sure
But I do know one thing
Is where you are, is where I don’t belong
I do know where you go is where I don’t wannna be
Where are you going? where do you go?
Are you looking for Caravans under the stars?
If along the way you are growing stronger, you can stay away from me
Until a brighter day and you’re gone
